Key Lime Margarita

There’s just something about summertime that makes margaritas the perfect cocktail! We’ve made this several times – it’s best with Key lime juice, but regular fresh lime juice will do in a pinch. Just don’t use the bottled stuff – it really doesn’t taste the same! Enjoy!

Key Lime Margaritas
Adapted from Coastal Living, May 2010
Makes 1 cocktail

2 ounces (1/4 cup) fresh Key lime juice
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) agave nectar or simple syrup
2 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) premium orange liqueur

Combine Key lime juice and remaining ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously, and pour into prepared glass.
