Brie with Jeweled Fruit Compote

We tried this brie recipe for the first time this Thanksgiving, and it was fantastic! Definitely something more interesting than just plain brie. We will definitely be making this again!

Brie with Jeweled Fruit Compote
From Cooking Light, Nov 2013
Serves 16 (1/2 oz brie, 1 Tbsp compote)

Ingredients:
1/4 cup dried tart cherries
1/4 cup dried apricots, sliced
1/4 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons brandy
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon whole-grain mustard
3/4 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Dash of kosher salt
6 small dried figs, quartered
1 (8-ounce) wheel Brie cheese

Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cheese in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH 2 minutes. Stir mixture; microwave at HIGH 1 minute or until bubbly. Serve warm fruit over Brie.
