Strawberry Moonshine Lemonade

Last week, we attended a wine dinner at one of our favorite San Antonio restaurants, Bin 555 (http://www.bin555.com/). To start off the night, we had a Strawberry Moonshine Lemonade cocktail with the appetizers. It was amazing! Everyone was asking their waiter/waitress about the drink, and they were spilling the details.

When chef Dady made his rounds to talk to each table, we asked him – why a drink with strawberry moonshine? He replied that he had been approached by the company (http://www.juniorsmidnightmoon.com/), and they wanted him to create a cocktail with their moonshine, and this is what he came up with! He shared the details (clarifying some of the fuzzy details that our waiter gave us), and we told him we were definitely making this at home!

John made this Wednesday night for pre-4th of July cocktails, and a couple of the neighbors showed up and LOVED it! They requested that we make a pitcher of drinks to bring to the 4th of July cookout, so, of course, we did. It was a HUGE hit, once again! You should definitely make this if you can find the moonshine! 🙂
